Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 12.69% or 12.25 points to trade at 108.75 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 8.11% or 17.4 points to end at 231.9 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 7.52% or 13.4 points to 192.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CSE:DSV), which fell 8.36% or 93.5 points to trade at 1025.0 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 5.90% or 23.4 points to end at 373.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 5.56% or 37.6 points to 638.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 54 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 9.42% or 3.50 to $40.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 8.37% or 3.30 to hit $42.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 4.42% or 86.30 to trade at $1865.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.2863, while EUR/DKK fell 0.09% to 7.4455.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 92.650.
