Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 6.52% or 7.05 points to trade at 115.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 4.89% or 4.6 points to end at 99.2 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 3.12% or 28.6 points to 946.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 7.03% or 34.9 points to trade at 461.2 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 3.33% or 7.8 points to end at 226.5 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 3.25% or 12.3 points to 366.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 67 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.16% or 0.87 to $41.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.96% or 0.83 to hit $43.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.37% or 25.45 to trade at $1879.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.2980, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4459.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.695.
