Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.74% or 8.3 points to trade at 311.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.27% or 4.3 points to end at 343.6 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 1.26% or 3.2 points to 257.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.57% or 17.00 points to trade at 645.00 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 2.30% or 12.0 points to end at 510.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.67% or 158 points to 9300.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 60 to 60 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.18% or 2.62 to $60.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 3.57% or 2.44 to hit $65.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 11.85 to trade at $1562.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.7215, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4729.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 96.942.
