Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 4.31% or 34.5 points to trade at 834.5 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.85% or 310 points to end at 11190 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 2.71% or 9.8 points to 371.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 1.32% or 3.3 points to trade at 245.9 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.08% or 15.0 points to end at 1375.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.70% or 1.0 points to 142.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 31 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.24% or 0.13 to $53.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.14% or 0.08 to hit $56.43 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 6.65 to trade at $1247.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 7.0345, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4334.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 101.59.
