Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.63% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.69% or 5.9 points to trade at 355.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.48% or 3.7 points to end at 253.7 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.46% or 5.5 points to 381.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 1.17% or 3.4 points to trade at 288.4 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.53% or 1.50 points to end at 282.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 0.45% or 50 points to 11160.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 56 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.46% or 5.5 to 381.2.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.45% or 0.22 to $49.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.33% or 0.17 to hit $51.96 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.96% or 12.25 to trade at $1265.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.70% to 6.7983, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 98.63.
