Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.16% or 24.0 points to trade at 601.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.41% or 6.6 points to end at 473.5 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 1.27% or 3.70 points to 293.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 1.30% or 2.5 points to trade at 190.1 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 1.25% or 1.05 points to end at 83.15 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 0.57% or 8.0 points to 1389.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.29% or 0.58 to $45.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.18% or 0.56 to hit $48.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.78 to trade at $1243.02 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.5153, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4354.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 95.47.
