Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.33% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 1.00% or 3.7 points to trade at 375.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.91% or 11.0 points to end at 1219.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.90% or 0.30 points to 33.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 1.29% or 3.1 points to trade at 237.8 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 1.15% or 3.10 points to end at 266.40 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was down 1.06% or 1.4 points to 130.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 49 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.49% or 0.24 to $48.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $49.72 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.59% or 7.15 to trade at $1210.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.6601, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4391.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 95.52.
