Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.90% or 7.1 points to trade at 381.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.63% or 20.0 points to end at 1249.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.55% or 4.7 points to 307.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 0.50% or 45 points to trade at 8970 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.47% or 40 points to end at 8550 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 0.43% or 1.0 points to 229.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 53 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.55% or 0.25 to $45.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.54% or 0.25 to hit $46.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1224.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.9848, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4416.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 100.68.
