Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.18% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.51% or 3.6 points to trade at 242.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.06% or 2.9 points to end at 277.5 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.01% or 4.8 points to 480.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 0.81% or 3.6 points to trade at 438.7 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.65% or 70 points to end at 10760 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.52% or 2.0 points to 386.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 54 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.28% or 0.15 to $52.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $54.97 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.05 to trade at $1133.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 7.1132, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4333.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 103.00.
