Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.17% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which rose 4.04% or 10.70 points to trade at 275.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Nets A/S (CO:NETS) added 2.70% or 3.00 points to end at 114.10 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.65% or 5.8 points to 357.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 2.48% or 32.0 points to trade at 1257.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.64% or 12.0 points to end at 718.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.96% or 5.5 points to 567.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 42 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.64% or 12.0 to 718.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.43% or 0.22 to $51.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.54% or 0.29 to hit $54.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 9.35 to trade at $1249.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.9801, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4358.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 100.58.
