Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 7.11% or 47.0 points to trade at 708.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 2.18% or 8.2 points to end at 384.2 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.16% or 3.2 points to 278.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 5.41% or 4.65 points to trade at 81.30 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.16% or 6.2 points to end at 189.7 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 2.30% or 9.7 points to 411.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 47 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.34% or 0.16 to $47.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.20% or 0.10 to hit $49.60 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 3.88 to trade at $1245.88 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.00% to 6.3930, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 94.05.
