Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.73% or 2.8 points to trade at 164.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.38% or 19.0 points to end at 1394.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.92% or 2.7 points to 294.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which fell 3.63% or 4.30 points to trade at 114.00 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 0.78% or 2.9 points to end at 368.2 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.58% or 2.9 points to 498.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.73% or 2.8 to 164.5.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.93% or 1.04 to $52.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.90% or 1.07 to hit $55.29 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.40% or 17.45 to trade at $1232.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.37% to 7.0737, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4334.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 102.15.
