Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.45% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 2.64% or 25.60 points to trade at 994.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.70% or 2.65 points to end at 158.80 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.63% or 15.80 points to 985.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 4.18% or 7.00 points to trade at 160.70 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.04% or 1.10 points to end at 105.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 0.93% or 140.00 points to 14,950.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 69 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.64% or 25.60 to 994.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.50% or 0.40 to $79.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.49% or 0.42 to hit $85.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 11.35 to trade at $1,863.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 103.34.
