Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.70% or 16.50 points to trade at 986.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) added 0.59% or 1.40 points to end at 240.30 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 0.52% or 80.00 points to 15,420.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.43% or 2.65 points to trade at 106.40 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.38% or 5.30 points to end at 217.60 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.46% or 9.80 points to 660.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 71 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.25% or 2.55 to $75.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.84% or 2.42 to hit $82.72 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 5.20 to trade at $1,846.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 104.10.
