Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 1.48% or 6.40 points to trade at 438.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.98% or 9.00 points to end at 925.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.81% or 1.05 points to 131.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.97% or 5.84 points to trade at 191.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.96% or 2.95 points to end at 147.20 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 1.60% or 1.42 points to 87.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 56 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.29% or 0.22 to $75.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.53% or 0.42 to hit $79.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.52% or 27.25 to trade at $1,824.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 7.00, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.70% at 103.61.
