Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.48% or 0.91 points to trade at 37.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) added 2.22% or 8.20 points to end at 377.30 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.93% or 5.0 points to 543.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 2.83% or 15.5 points to trade at 533.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.26% or 2.7 points to end at 212.4 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.67% or 2.2 points to 328.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 56 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; up 2.22% or 8.20 to 377.30.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.71% or 0.35 to $49.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.47% or 0.26 to hit $55.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.31 to trade at $1285.21 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.3362, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4436.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.52.
