Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.39% or 5.50 points to trade at 167.80 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.41% or 320.00 points to end at 13,620.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.21% or 300.00 points to 13,875.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 0.73% or 7.80 points to trade at 1,064.20 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 0.08% or 0.10 points to end at 132.60 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 0.07% or 0.10 points to 136.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 67 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) fell to 3-years lows; falling 0.08% or 0.10 to 132.60.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.50% or 1.11 to $75.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.24% or 0.97 to hit $79.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.50% or 29.35 to trade at $1,985.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.64, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 99.61.
