Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.85% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB), which rose 0.32% or 5.0 points to trade at 1585.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.16% or 20.0 points to end at 12720.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was down 0.11% or 10.0 points to 8750.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 3.19% or 360.0 points to trade at 10940.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 2.42% or 40.0 points to end at 1610.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was down 2.13% or 60.0 points to 2755.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 24 to 5 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) fell to all time lows; down 2.42% or 40.0 to 1610.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.52% or 0.65 to $125.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.32% or 10.50 to hit $3242.50 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.45% or 5.20 to trade at $1157.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.37% to 2683.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.70% to 831.04.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.53% at 96.38.
