Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 0.95% or 40.0 points to trade at 4270.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 0.73% or 10.0 points to end at 1380.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.31% or 60.0 points to 19480.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 1.59% or 50.0 points to trade at 3100.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.46% or 160.0 points to end at 10780.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 1.40% or 440.0 points to 31000.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.88% or 1.33 to $149.55 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.63% or 13.00 to hit $2089.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.53% or 18.35 to trade at $1214.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.64% to 2910.03, while BRL/COP fell 1.26% to 924.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.90% at 99.52.
