Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.87%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which rose 4.53% or 780.0 points to trade at 17980.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 3.17% or 520.0 points to end at 16900.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was up 3.04% or 1120.0 points to 38020.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which fell 4.17% or 170.0 points to trade at 3905.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 0.58% or 360.0 points to end at 61640.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was down 0.36% or 5.0 points to 1390.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 25 to 4 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.89% or 2.39 to $128.92 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.55% or 17.00 to hit $3087.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1268.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.51% to 2973.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.89% to 857.09.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 94.24.
