Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.32% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.81% or 200.0 points to trade at 11280.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.26% or 380.0 points to end at 30580.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.96% or 240.0 points to 25260.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 2.38% or 0.6 points to trade at 24.6 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 0.89% or 40.0 points to end at 4450.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 0.75% or 20.0 points to 2640.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.26% or 380.0 to 30580.0.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.13% or 1.55 to $135.38 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.44% or 8.50 to hit $1960.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.28 to trade at $1221.82 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.54% to 2978.04, while BRL/COP rose 0.94% to 934.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 99.43.
