Ty Outlaw made six 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 20 points in the Hokies' win over the Yellow Jackets at Blacksburg, Va.
Virginia Tech (19-5, 8-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) ended a two-game losing streak and swept the season series against Georgia Tech, which has lost six straight and eight of its past nine.
