Investing.com – Sterling slipped Wednesday against the dollar after U.K. data.
The pound was down 0.35% at $1.3392 at 04:45 ET.
U.K. manufacturing output declined 0.9% in July against a forecast fall of 0.4%.
The dollar moved off lows hit Tuesday as U.S. services activity fell to a six-year low.
The dollar index edged up 0.11% as greenback pared losses against a strong yen.
