British legislator Stephen Hammond, who is also a member of the UK Treasury Select Committee, has joined the regulated cryptocurrency exchange IronX to advise on government relations. The digital currency exchange is a joint venture between online trading IronFX and EmurgoHK, the developers of Cardano (ADA), which is the ninth-largest crypto coin by market capitalization.
In a statement sent to Cryptovest, the company said they aim to bring digital currency trading to the mass retail trading market. At the same time, IronFX said it had completed the private sale of its IRX token. They will now launch the coin’s initial coin offering on November 1.
Hammond, a Member of Parliament (MP) of the British parliament, commented:
