Popular crypto investor Tim Draper has expressed his interest in the Bitcoin asset. According to Draper, he sees Netflix as the next tech company to add Bitcoin to its balance sheet.
In particular, Draper predicted that Netflix will be the next company to buy Bitcoin in a Youtube discussion titled ‘Building a freer World on Blockchain with Tim Draper’.
Draper said in the discussion,
“I think Reed Hastings is a very innovative guy and has a lot of creative thinking and I think he still controls the reins at Netflix and so I think that might be the next big one to fall.”
However, Draper’s prediction is based on how institutional investors continue to purchase BTC nowadays. This significantly increased Coinbase Pro transactions a few days ago.
Furthermore, Draper notably said that he thinks Amazon will also accept Bitcoin payment in the future. “Amazon will probably start accepting Bitcoin pretty soon,” he said.
Not long ago, business intelligence firm MicroStrategy bought about 328 BTC at the cost of $15 million. The 328 BTC purchased greatly increased the firm’s total Bitcoins to over 90,551.
Based on CoinGecko data, Bitcoin’s price is $50,580 with a 24h trading volume of $64,581 at the time of writing.
