Polygon Announces Partnership With SPORTFIVE To Power Web3 Transitions

Polygon tweeted exciting news of a partnership with the globally leading sports business agency SPORTFIVE to power web3.0 transitions. The tweet emphasized that the brands are teaming up to help sports rights-holders and brands transition smoothly into web3.0.

Releasing a teaser video, Polygon demonstrated how the collaboration for the world’s leading sports agency and number one gateway to web3.0 will alter the future of sports via blockchain technology.

The brands aim to enable web3.0 knowledge for sports teams, leagues, federations, and brands. The tweet further shared that SPORTSFIVE will work with Polygon on a global scale to acquire premium rights-holder and brand mandates to educate, design, build, operate, and market comprehensive and engaging web3.0 experiences.

The video further adds that the partnership will allow sports brands and IPs to identify, create, and shape commercial opportunities through blockchain-enabled products that fans treasure.

Polygon continued the conversation about SPORTFIVE’s portfolio in the Twitter thread. Having previously worked with IPs like Atlético de Madrid, Los Angeles Lakers, NEW YORK KNICKS, Chelsea FC, New York Jets, and UEFA, it will now act as a lever for Polygon to approach huge IPs and brands across both sports and entertainment ecosystems.

In the blog published on Polygon’s website, Polygon Enterprise Lead Antoni Martin said,

We’re eager to accelerate the entry of sports brands and rights holders to the Web3 space with our blockchain solutions, and we look forward to working closely with SPORTFIVE going forward.

SPORTFIVE CEO Stefan Felsing stated that the SPORTFIVE team is pleased to partner with Polygon and is looking forward to accelerating the commercial development of its web3.0 projects with Polygon’s support.
