Gala Games becoming one of the first giants of the blockchain gaming industry, along with Yield Guild Games, Enjin, and metaverses like Decentraland or The Sandbox.
So far, Gala added 4 new projects into their bank since the September of the previous year. Amongst them, there was even a new game in the Walking Dead series.
Legends Reborn became the last such one taken under their wing. The studio behind the game, Kung Fu Factory, got a hand on both mobile and console games. They worked with such titles as Adventure Time, Sponge Bob, WWE, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pacific Rim, and MMA.
Of course, most of them are very simple arcade games for Android and iOS. On the other hand, they obtained quite good experience in the card games as well as strategy genres, releasing “Adventure Time: Card Wars”, “Card King: Dragon Wars”, and “SpongeBob Moves In!”
Therefore, this experience is enough to create a strategy card game on a blockchain, which is Legends Reborn. So far, the developers didn’t reveal too many details about the game. Moreover, the question stays about how much it will be different from the already popular blockchain game “Splinterlands.”
On the official website, it is stated:
“Gather a hoard of Creatures that would strike envy into the hearts of ancient dragons. Then combine Creatures and Heroes in precise combinations to build a deck that will lead you to victory in Tolkhiem's most magnificent arenas.” Will it have something to deal with J. R. R. Tolkien is also a mystery. Anyways, we shall see in the near future. Gala Games proved themselves as trustable game-makers that value gameplay over the possibility to earn.
