Crypto Market Cap Closing to 3T — Could Hit 100T in a Decade

  • Lark Davis sparked an interesting conversation on Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) once again.
  • At the moment, the total crypto market cap is already closing in on 3 trillion.
  • He says this could even reach 100 trillion by the end of the decade.

Since the inception of Bitcoin (BTC) in 2009, the crypto market has continued to expand. For years, the public witnessed how countries adopted cryptocurrencies one after another. Similarly, more innovations emerged like NFT, DeFi, and Metaverse — thanks to blockchain. Investors from all over the world joined the market, resulting in the industry’s massive growth.

As mentioned in his tweet, Lark thinks that the total crypto market capitalization could even reach 100 trillion by the end of the decade. Seeing how fast the industry progresses, one could argue that this could be possible.

Of course, this sparked interesting conversations on the Twitter crypto space. At press time, the tweet already garnered around 1,079 likes with 96 retweets and 5 quote tweets.

Most of the Twitter users replied with their personal take on the coins they invested in, while some shared their good experiences with crypto. Nonetheless, almost everyone in the Twitter crypto community who engaged with Lark’s tweet viewed it positively — as if agreeing with what he said.

Suffice to say, the evident fast-paced and incessant growth of the crypto industry could show that it’s here to stay. Moreover, just as Lark said, if you plan to invest in cryptocurrencies, “You are not super early, but you are definitely not late!”
