Animoca Brands Pairs with BAYC to Develop Blockchain Game

The renowned Bored Ape Yacht Club has announced an exciting cooperation with Animoca Brands. Together, they plan to create a rogue blockchain game replete with BAYC's trademark chaos. These two blockchain colossi will join forces to produce an unforgettable experience for fans of the series, as well as additional benefits for holders of the precious assets. The game will be released in Q2 of 2022 and will have a play-to-earn mechanic.

The team behind BAYC, Animoca Brands, and Yuga Labs are both ecstatic about the initiative. A Yuga Labs spokeswoman stated, "there are many prospects that such a magnificent relationship will hold," referring to the various possibilities that such a glorious cooperation will possess: "We're pleased to collaborate with Animoca Brands to expand the BAYC universe and provide more value and benefits to all Bored Ape NFT holders," says the company.

"We are tremendously delighted and proud to cooperate on a game for this cultural milestone," said Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands. Needless to say, this fresh and astonishing revelation has caused quite a stir in the NFT community. As a result, NFTs are finally gaining traction in the crypto industry. They were initially dismissed as useless since there was no ecosystem in which they could interact; however, when blockchain games and the metaverse entered the scene, the puzzle was swiftly addressed.

Returning to the game, the developers have yet to provide any specifics regarding the gaming mechanics, aesthetics, or even the game's future accessible platforms; all we know is the approximate release date, which is currently set for Q2 of 2022. The game will, of course, be play-to-earn, as it befits a blockchain-based game.
