Oil Stockpile Dropped 6.422 Million Barrels Last Week: EIA

Investing.com -- U.S. oil stockpiles dropped by more than expected in the latest week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.

Crude oil inventories dropped by 6.422 million barrels last week, compared with analysts' expectations for a draw of 3.544 million barrels.

Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 1.688 million barrels in the week against expectations for a draw of 1.612 million barrels, the EIA data showed.

Gasoline inventories declined by 1.848 million barrels last week the EIA said, compared with expectations for a draw of 1.957 million barrels.

Wrong. Americans are dependant because they consume energy like there is no tomorrow. Biggest energy consumer per capita in the world, together with Canada. Gain independence by consuming less. It's very simple.

Wrong. We may consume a lot of fossil fuels, but that doesn't make us dependent on foreign countries for oil. Biden shutting down drilling, increasing regulations, and eradicating infrastructure for supply, like Keystone which was already completed, is what lowers availability, and raises gas prices to a six year high in many places around the country. If sleepy Joe would make America first on his list to succeed, and not the Taliban, we wouldn't be in this pickle.
