Objectively, this trade war should have almost negligible effects because the overwhelming majority of the companies in the Ibex 35 don't manufacture goods that could be subject to any US tariffs (~35% are banks, then the rest are split between construction, utilities, energy, etc...). The actual risk comes indirectly as a result of reduced economic activity in the EU zone, and the sizable exposure of several of the biggest companies in the Ibex (Santander, BBVA, Telefónica) to several emerging markets that are taking a big economic hit (e.g. Argentina, Brazil and Turkey).. Anyway, even if US tariffs have a negligible effect on the bottom line of these companies, the moment the DAX or the SP 500 take a plunge the Ibex will follow suit (it always does).

Easiest money making index out there. I don't know how can you guys not see the trades in this. It has been range bound for a while now why are you holding positions. I've made $30,000 in 2 months just buy sell buy sell. And it's doing the same thing. Don't wait for it go back to 11,000. Put 5-7-10 positions with anywhere between 50-100 point take profits. Just keep it rolling. Don't wait for it to shoot bcuz world market is going up. U need to trade the index as it is. And not compare it with others. And pls use fibo. It is giving such accurate trades . It's on a down trend daily and some what weekly. But it will pick up and reverse. Happy trading!!!

NGONGA CHANSA i started with $10,000 Capital. Im a very active ibex trader for a long time now . left it for a while and started trading other indexes and some currency. but now again for about last 4 months im actively trading Ibex bcuz it has been range bound so it makes it easy to make money. the problem occurs when something continously goes up or down. but range bound trades are easy to understand and create good patterns. I dont like to hold something for too long. i actively like to take profits but setting limits. I have a page for technical analysis where ive done analysis of ibex as well https://www.tradingview.com/u/shaxrashid/ you can check if it helps you guys.

Paul Edwards it has been range bound for a while now which is good for profit taking. but u have to make multiple trades and keep taking profits every 100-200 points. and try to get out of the trade when it reaches upper or lower limits bcuz you never know when it actually plans to break the trend so i always get out rather than risking my profits. which can be neither way. so its always better not to trade against the trend and rather just go along with it. https://www.tradingview.com/u/shaxrashid/ i do technical analysis of various indexes, gold, crypto. maybe this helps you

Lets say that for those who actually know how to read the markets feelings, knew for a fact that last tuesday with the ibex at 9900 was an excellent entrance. Obviouslly wednesday ibex went up to 10100 after the first resistance and the news of the spanish market wasnt affected anymore with cataluña little issue. Throwing numbers with a capital of 10k at 1:100 we went out at 10000 points. Thats 100 points hence 1k profit in one day. Forbes explained lasts months that 89% of private investors had a bad experience. Stop playing and go with the hand of Professional entities...which arent banks.

hey guys its simple when you short it's a derivative .when lot of people short then they buy stocks and go long in derivative so you lose and pay the price for going up. It is the same thing what happened after Brexit and trump.its only one way betting don't lose your money  .
