Investment Strategy

DJSI World focuses on the world's 2500 largest companies. They are measured on the financial, social and environmental appearance. The companies represents top 10 pct. of the leading sustainability companies in the 57 sectors and 51 countries the index covers. All companies in the index are screened on a set of criteria’s which all build upon a responsibility for the development of the values in society. After being accepted in the index, the companies are continuously monitored for their "corporate sustainability performance". That is to ensure that they uphold the outlined ethical guidelines. That implies for example that there is no child labor, no corruption and no discrimination of any kind. There is no currency hedging.

Biography	Joined Sparinvest from financial software producer Simcorp in 2001 to strengthen the strategic asset allocation team. In 2002 he moved to the equity team to take charge of the index fund family Sparindex. Today, Thomas is a senior portfolio manager with the Sparinvest High Yield Value Bonds fund. He is also a member of the Sparinvest Investment Committee. Thomas holds a master’s degree in finance from the Copenhagen Business School.
