The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to allocate the capital towards sustainable economic models with environmental and/or social benefits by investing in companies which qualify as a sustainable investment and whose economic activity contributes positively to and does not significantly harm the achievement of one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and/or reduces the risk of not achieving one or more of the UN SDGs, while ensuring that the portfolio companies follow good governance practices.

Biography Soliane Varlet joined Mirova in 2005 and holds the positions of Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Euro Equities and Diversity Thematic. Soliane began her career in 2000 as a sell-side equity analyst, specialising in the media sector at CM-CIC Securities. Biography Jens Peers has been part of Mirova/Ostrum AM since 2013. Previously head of environmental equities at Kleinwort Benson Investors, Jens Peers is a thematic investment expert with 25 years of experience. At Kleinwort, he developed and managed several thematic strategies (demographic and environmental), including water, agribusiness, and clean tech. Jens joined Mirova in 2013 as CIO Sustainable Equities, and has been portfolio manager on the Global Sustainable Equity strategy since its launch in 2013. Jens has considerable international experience and has extensive knowledge of consultants’ and clients’ needs. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences on environmental, water, and agricultural themes. Jens holds a master’s degree in applied economics from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. He is also a CFA® charterholder and is a certified CEFA (Certified European Financial Analyst of the BVFA/ABAF – Belgian Association of Financial Analysts).

Biography Amber Fairbanks CFA is a Portfolio Manager of the Global Social Leaders Fund. Prior to joining Mirova in October 2018, she was a portfolio manager and analyst at Zevin Asset Management for over a decade. Ms. Fairbanks received her MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management and has a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Biography Suzanne Senellart, Senior Portfolio Manager Suzanne has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets. She has a track record of managing global and European equities, including 7 years on sustainable equities. She is a seasoned thematic Portfolio Manager as the founding manager of Mirova’s Life Quality fund, focused on environmental, as well as lead manager of the Global Climate Change Equity strategy (2009- 2013). Suzanne is furthermore an expert in the utilities, energy, natural resources and health sectors.
