In addition, it sorts, processes, and packages non-ferrous metals, which include aluminum, copper, stainless steel, brass, nickel-based alloys, and high-temperature alloys; and recycles platinum group metals, platinum, palladium, and rhodium from substrate material retrieved from catalytic converters. Further, the company recycles minor metals, such as molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, niobium, rhenium, and chrome. Metalico, Inc. was incorporated in 1997 and is headquartered in Cranford, New Jersey. As of July 1, 2016, Metalico Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Yechiu Metal Recycling (China) Ltd.
