Back in Feb of this year I used DRYS as an example for common gaps versus break away gaps.  Where in common gaps are typically filled and filled sooner than a break away gap.  Here is an update of that chart example.  The break away gap has yet to be filled and today my entry down at 1.5625 in August of 2017 is not up 200% as of the close today when price drove up, through and closed above the preset line at 4.68 and headed towards the 6.25 price objective. Good luck all long or short.. . https://invst.ly/7qmqg

if you're on a swing strategy, I would say buy on a potential crude oil surge and sell at highs. if your long term I would short until the company either merges or files for bankruptcy.

I'm new to all this. From what I've seen so far it seem to be going up. Maybe, I will take the risk and keep em to see what will happen.

I don't want to burst your bubble. BUT. If you look at the News and Analysis on DRYS you will see that a great number of investors have lost thousands and thousands of dollars on this stock. MAYBE DRYS is due for a turn around but history doesn't show that. Look at the stock chart for the last year and ask yourself, "what is the probability that this stock is suddenly going to start going up?" The 15 shares that you own may be a lot to you and I hope that your investment works out for you. I can only tell you that at one time I had about $1500 in DRYS shares. I no longer have any shares left because of the reverse splits and dropping stock price.. So I lost it all. The stock went to oblivion because of blunders by the board of directors. The same people are there so I don't expect any change in how the business id run.

Unless you shorted this stock it has been nothing but junk. The board of directors should be in jail for what they have done to the shareholders. I no longer own any shares of this stock because the shares I had were reverse split to nothing. Prior to the last split I was down to two thirds of one share. I even lost that after the last split. Isn't there something wrong with what the board of directors has done?
