Dhaka Insurance Limited is a non-life insurance company. The principal activities of the Company are to offer general insurance products, which include fire and allied perils insurance, marine cargo and hull insurance, aviation insurance, automobile insurance and miscellaneous insurance. The Company’s products and services include fire insurance, marine insurance, motor insurance, engineering insurance, miscellaneous insurance, health insurance and re-insurers. It covers the risks, including floods; cyclones; personal accidents, people personal accidents and workmen's compensations; engineering and specialized risk, which includes machinery breakdown, deterioration of stock, boiler explosion, contractor's all risk and erection all risk; poultry farm insurance; dread disease insurance; burglary, cash in safe, cash on the counter and cash in transit, and overseas medical insurance. The operations of the Company are being carried out through its 16 branches located all over Bangladesh.
