In Sept contract the odds of northern movement is so great.  First target is $2.85 200 MA.  That's +13 cents from current position. https://s.tradingview.com/x/wzVulK8S/

Ray Der Check your brokerage for the actual roll for you. They are all different in how they handle it ...,, whether they close your position or not if you don't roll it.

- We still in a bearish channel unless we move above 2.887 to turn weekly charts to reversal and as I mention before a bullish bat still valid for 2.672 so we may rise for a short term to 2.805-2.830 but then we should drop to 2.672 to complete the pattern Glta :) mo

Yes kB we looking at the same chart in the short term I see a bullish signal but it’s not going to be a break up of the channel I still see 2.672 and possible 2.594 before any big change on trend :) mo

yes a little confusing, the powerburn is pretty impressive. Almost 50% for the summer months relying on NG... That said, how will the powerburn help in the winter time?

This is from EIA analysis ---  I am starting to think this will not impact prices too much ------- The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) forecasts working natural gas inventories on October 31 will be 3,470 billion cubic feet (Bcf), 365 Bcf (10%) lower than the five-year average and 346 Bcf (9%) lower than last year’s level. This forecast inventory level would be the lowest end-of-October storage level since 2008, when inventories ended the month at 3,412 Bcf.

If you look at past few EIA reports, the bigger builds in storage have been in MidWest & East area, which are heavily pop. areas. Last report said Midwest & East were slightly cooler in temp than normal -- which may account for the build. Need extended heat wave over this area to bring down storage for this area. If so, possible of total withdrawal for report.

During the same period, Texas and California will have higher temps than usual. They have the 1st and 2nd highest NG consumption.  Maybe that makes it neutral overall. Have to keep on eye on it.

NG Prices are lower than 1 year. Took a quick look at Midwest and East, 1 year ago, and still had builds but builds looked a little lighter.

Here in Houston we've been at record highs all week and also have hit record demand for energy consumption. When the rest of the north has cooler summer. Go figure.

def our close on Friday supports the idea that 2.70 has very high odds to be the bottom for now, .but still expect Monday to be a day of testing the the lows , but how it all plays out it all depends if we move up or down first at the open., this will mean that our lows is 11.50% from the highs of 3.053 which is only 2% less than the lowest straight summer slide in the past 5 years which is acceptable given that this is a very low volatility market

March - Oct trading NG is easy with the daily range and volatility too low. Oct-March on the other hand, expertise will be tested.

Reading the BlueGold Research --- these guys are more bullish on NG. But, they also mention looking at Producer positioning, and if you start to see producers going heavy short, they like price.
