Heating: Gas Furnaces: Traditional gas furnaces burn natural gas or propane to generate heat, which is then circulated throughout the home. Heat Pumps: While not strictly gas-powered, some heat pumps use electricity to transfer heat, and can be more efficient than gas furnaces in certain climates. Cooling: Air Conditioners: Most home air conditioners are electric systems that use a refrigerant gas to absorb heat from the air and release it outside. Gas-Engine Driven Cooling Systems: Some cooling systems use a gas engine to power the compressor, which is then used to cool the air.

Based on current estimates for this year, the enterprise value to EBITDA multiple is barely above 4 right now. With the longer-term average being significantly above 5, CVE trades at a huge discount to its historically normal valuation. With free cash flow likely improving this year, CVE can take advantage of this low valuation by buying back its shares at a rapid pace, while I also believe that we will get another dividend increase this year.

Interdting comments on Vermillion - The current stock valuation is incredibly cheap, given the geographic diversification of the company, its hedging program and substantial cash flow generation. The exposure to highly priced European natural gas is a bonus. Finally, we need a couple of quarters of strong operational execution in order to bring German exploration success to production, as well as integrate Westbrick. If management can pull this off, the stock won't stay this cheap for long.

I heard 1 HDD is equals to 1.6 bcf and 1 CDD equals 0.4 bcf so heating demand is more important
