German software company, SAP SE (DE:SAPG) (NYSE:SAP) , recently announced that its cloud-based prototyping and user research tool, Build, is now available commercially. This announcement was made at the SAP Spotlight Tour, being held between Sep 13 and 14.

A building block of the “experience as a service (“UXaaS”)” on SAP HANA Cloud Platform, Build is a cloud-based tool set that will enable customers to resolve issues related to scaling app development. UXaaS is a design tool, integrated in SAP HANA Cloud Platform, which aids in accessing critical development and service functions of the Cloud Platform. It is extensively used in the discovery, design and deployment of cloud applications.

The launch of Build will help enterprises to improve user experience over a gamut of apps, by developing powerful apps that can cater to end-user demands. Build will allow analysts and other users to develop prototypes iteratively, collect user feedbacks timely and gain access to a strong catalog of design content. SAP believes that Build is a major breakthrough, which will assist business enterprises to resolve usage and adoption issues at the nascent stages of app development.

Ever since Build has become operational, SAP has already managed to gain customers – namely ATB Financial, Convergent IS and Linklaters – that have deployed it to develop novel applications, boosting end-user satiation. This latest offering from SAP is expected to take design innovation in the IT industry to the next level, by helping business enterprises learn, adopt and scale “design thinking”.

SAP HANA – a new class of solutions that power the next generation of business applications – has been driving growth since its introduction. The company constantly upgrades its existing products and launches fresh ones to gain customers.

Stiff rivalry in contemporary markets calls for technological superiority over peers. We believe this will keep up the demand momentum for efficient software tools. Developing Build further fortifies the SAP HANA Cloud Platform and is expected to help the company gain new customers going forward.

SAP currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). Some better-ranked stocks in the industry include Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:AZPN) , Callidus Software Inc. (NASDAQ:CALD) and DST Systems Inc. (NYSE:DST) . All the three stocks carry a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 (Strong Buy) Rank stocks here.
