Prudential (LON:PRU) Short-Term Corporate Bond C Fund (PIFCX) a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) was incepted in September 1989 and is managed by Prudential Investment Management. The main objective of PIFCX is to seek high current income consistent with the preservation of principal. PIFCX normally invests at least 80% of PIFCX's investable assets in bonds of corporations with maturities of six years or less. Bonds include all fixed-income securities, other than preferred stock, and corporations include all private issuers. PIFCX may invest in mortgage related securities and asset backed securities. Up to 35% of PIFCX's investable assets may be invested in dollar-denominated obligations issued in the U.S. by foreign corporations and governments.
