The week’s biggest mover on the weekly Renewables MMI® was the price of Chinese cobalt cathodes, which saw a 1.4 percent increase. This week marked the third in a row of rising prices for the metal.
The price of Chinese steel plate rose 0.5 percent after falling 5.7 percent during the previous week. Prices for silicon remained constant. The week also finished with no movement for neodymium.
Japanese steel plate prices held steady from the previous week, and the prices of Korean steel plate and US steel plate also remained unchanged.
US grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) coil prices dropped a slight 0.4 percent this month.
