CACI International Inc. (NYSE:CACI) , a defense and intelligence information technology company based in Arlington, VA, recently won a multi-million dollar task order to continue its Development, Engineering, and Protection Services (DEPS) support to the U.S. Army Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD).

This prestigious multi-year task order award under the Rapid Response-Third Generation contract vehicle shows the trust various government agencies have in CACI’s Intelligence Systems and Support.

The I2WD is the main hub for the U.S. Army’s research and development center for various advanced cyber and intelligence operations.

Per the award, CACI is likely to provide software and hardware engineering support to the I2WD in securing air and ground platforms against electronic warfare attack and help in developing countermeasures.

CACI’s significant investment in the field of electronic warfare, combined with its innovative technologies, will help the Army to effectively meet requirements and support military personnel.

Within the purview of the current contract, intelligence services provided by the company will enable DEPS to ensure a high level of national security and combat challenges that come their way. In recent years, CACI has clinched a number of government contracts that have widened its footprint in the industry. These contracts have cemented its position as one of the most reliable security services firms in the world.

CACI International has a large pipeline of new projects and continues to win deals at regular intervals. Back-to-back contract wins are the key catalysts driving the company. Furthermore, having the government as a big client lends stability to its business and moderates fluctuations in revenue. Although the government generally has a lengthy approval process, the project earns money for a number of years after it is approved. Moreover, government contracts also improve the visibility of future revenue streams. The company has been doing very well with a record level of awards, which reflects its disciplined business development actions, consistent operational excellence and high customer satisfaction. Going forward, the company continues to execute its strategy of winning high-value contracts, delivering excellence to its customers and deploying its capital for growth. The company’s robust business model is expected to help it grow and achieve newer heights.
