BlackBerry's Government Mobility Suite Becomes FedRAMP Ready

BlackBerry Limited (NYSE:BB) recently announced that its new Government Mobility Suite has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Ready status. Markedly, the cybersecurity software and services firm’s cloud-based endpoint management solution has been designed particularly for the U.S. government agencies.

The company is poised to benefit from surge in its business, while providing one of the most secure mobile enterprise solutions in the market. Presently listed on FedRAMP’s Marketplace, the solution is based on BlackBerry UEM and provides IT administrators with a single view of users, devices and applications across multiple OS endpoints.

While Kratos SecureInfo has verified BlackBerry’s readiness for the full FedRAMP authorization process, the FedRAMP Program Management Office has evaluated the company’s Readiness Assessment Report asserting that the capabilities meet crucial FedRAMP security requirements.

Further, the combination of BlackBerry Cylance’s artificial intelligence and machine learning cybersecurity capabilities with BlackBerry Spark has made its endpoint management and embedded software products more essential for businesses to generate value from the Internet of Things.
