Aphria Inc. (TO:APHA) had a nice day on Thursday, gaining 1.08, or 14%, to 8.74, on 14 million shares. Volume was the best in three or four weeks. This swing trade continues to push. To me, it looks like it’s on its way. There’s a little bit of a channel top, so I’m looking for 9 1/2, and maybe as high as 10 1/2-3/4. These are the targets going forward.
eHealth Inc. (NASDAQ:EHTH), one of my top picks of the year, bounced to 61.00 on Thursday, jumping 2.10, or 4%, closing at 61.16, on 777,009 shares traded. It reached 61 in three or four short weeks, going from 37 to 61, an incredible move, but is very overbought. That’s not to say it can’t go higher. Momentum is a funny thing. Keep raising your stops. At this point, stop half underneath 56, and the rest under 53 1/2.
Evolus Inc. (NASDAQ:EOLS), a recent addition of ours, popped 73 cents, or 5%, to 16.35, on 575,024 shares traded on Thursday. Why did I put this out there? Even though it hasn’t broken the declining topsline and taken out the channel with lateral resistance as well, it’s getting close. It’s been up five days in a row with fairly-strong volume and OBV rising. I think this stock is destined to pop and run to 21, 24, and maybe even as high as 28.
iQIYI Inc. (NASDAQ:IQ) popped on Thursday and advanced 74 cents, or 3.82%, to 4.5420.12, on 7.8 million shares. The recent pullback was muted on low volume. It popped out and across a new rally high on Thursday, and the volume was the best in four days. It looks to me like it might challenge the spike high at 22, and then make a run at 23 3/4. Those are my targets.
Qutoutiao Inc. (NASDAQ:QTT), a technology company, broke out on Thursday, and that’s why I put a swing on it. It popped 1.22, or 13%, to 10.92, on 2 million shares. I think it’s going to ramp up even more to 13 1/2 and 17.
Valero Energy Corporation (NYSE:VLO), one of our swing trades, is doing great. It jumped 4.54, or 5.45%, to 87.82, on 8.8 million shares. That’s the biggest volume on this stock in two years. To me, this is the beginning of another big move. The short-term target is 94-95, and then 104.
