Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.35% or 7.5 points to trade at 231.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.66% or 9.60 points to end at 588.60 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.49% or 2.90 points to 197.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 3.89% or 9.1 points to trade at 224.9 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.78% or 142 points to end at 7830 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.65% or 1.7 points to 99.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 47 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.89% or 9.1 to 224.9. Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; rising 1.66% or 9.60 to 588.60. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.65% or 1.7 to 99.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.35% or 0.20 to $58.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.45% or 0.29 to hit $64.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.15% or 16.25 to trade at $1434.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.5566, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4653.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 95.512.
