(Reuters) -South Africa's Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a veteran of the struggle against white minority rule and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, died on Sunday aged 90.

Following are reactions to his death.

Interesting how the liberal left, such as Obama, honor prominent religious figures that their atheist liberal left supporters despise and ridicule. That said, Desmond Tutu was a true advocate that many could learn from.  He, and others from his generation actually made sacrifices and worked to make positive change, not just attend a rally with a cardboard sign and then claim moral superiority.
