Weekly Comic: Bears get sick as bulls continue to buy the dip

Published 08/17/2017, 09:10 AM

Investing.com - Global stock markets have posted strong gains so far this week, recovering from steep North Korea-related losses a week earlier, as traders used the pullback as a buying opportunity, referred to as “buying the dip”

For the most part, market pullbacks in recent months have tended to be small and are usually followed by a strong bounce higher as traders scoop in to buy cheaper stocks.

The "buy the dip" phenomenon has kept the bears frustrated while the bulls cheer on as many begin to ask how much longer this can go on.
