TOKYO, March 30 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average nudged higher on Wednesday, recouping the previous day's losses, after rising U.S. bond yields lifted the dollar against the yen and after Wall Street edged higher, albeit in thin trade.
The Nikkei gained 0.3 percent, or 29.14 points, to 9,488.33. The broader Topix index advanced 0.2 percent to 851.53.
