Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 0.46% or 0.60 points to trade at 130.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 0.38% or 0.70 points to end at 183.00 and SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) was down 0.14% or 0.2 points to 144.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 4.00% or 19.00 points to trade at 456.00 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 3.22% or 4.20 points to end at 126.40 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 3.01% or 0.84 points to 27.09.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 293 to 200 and 69 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.48% or 0.59 to $39.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.84% or 0.34 to hit $40.13 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.40 to trade at $1220.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.35% to 9.2724, while USD/SEK rose 0.43% to 8.2988.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 96.16.
