Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 7.84% or 1.63 points to trade at 22.41 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.77% or 1.20 points to end at 156.50 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 0.11% or 0.07 points to 62.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa), which fell 2.21% or 2.3 points to trade at 102.0 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) declined 2.11% or 4.2 points to end at 195.1 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) was down 2.07% or 1.65 points to 77.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 358 to 206 and 47 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.31% or 0.67 to $50.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.09% or 0.57 to hit $51.94 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.82% or 10.35 to trade at $1272.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 9.2574, while USD/SEK rose 0.83% to 8.1770.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 94.01.
